A union bug is well hidden at 6:00. The sleeve seems to form three rings. Whitehead & Hoag backpaper, with the firm name laid out in an arc above the rest of the text.

AT-02. Cello, 5/8 inch. Torch has bindings, forming several x-shaped areas on the shaft. The arm is stipled with red dots along its two edges, but is white at center. Flame is gold. AT-03. Cello, 5/8 inch. Torch has no bindings. The shape of the dark shaded area at bottom is distinctive. Backpaper of W.F. Miller has the name of the firm laid out in an arc above the word "Patent."

Miller firm with text that begins, "W.F. Miller, 134 Park Road, New York, Pat. Appl'd For." Text of the backpaper is not laid out with text in an arc.

AT-06. Cello, 5/8 inch. Torch has no bindings. The shape of the dark shaded area at bottom is distinctive, but note that it is very similar to that of AT-05. This variety has the backpaper of W.F. Miller firm. Street number of the firm is given as 158 on this backpaper.
